One Thousand

This photo + story is from earlier this year, but it still makes me smile thinking about his thrill of his accomplishment (and my amazement)!

Journaling reads: The boy began counting after school and all through wrestling practice. He was at 842 when I picked him up and reached 1000 before we hit Hwy 50! He said he was probably the first kid at school to ever count all the way to 1000!
The note he’s holding was written while we were still driving home. One excited kid. Not bad for a kindergartner!
