Mad March Memories Blog Hop!

MMMBanner1
Welcome to your 5th stop in the Design House Digital Mad March Memories Blog Hop. (Wow, that was a mouthful.)  Thanks so much for stopping by!
This year, I’ve jumped into Project Life* (again) and have being doing it hybrid-style! A little bit of digi mixed in with some traditional stash. One of the things I’ve been loving is customizing my own journaling cards using digital supplies and then printing them to add to my page protectors. I’ve been using some of the great papers and word art from the designers at Design House Digital. Here’s a few examples of the printable sheets I’ve made:
Blog-journalcards4
These use a base card by Robyn Meierotto and word art by Karla Dudley. For other journaling cards, I’ve clipped different fun papers to the base card for some variety, as well as changed the color of the word art.
QuoteCard-carey-bridges
To help get you started, I’ve created some simple word art with outline and a template/clipping mask to clip digital paper or photos. Or, hide the clipping mask layer and print on white cardstock or your own patterned paper. Click on the image above to download the file.

Here’s an example of a completed card (using Cool Kid Papers by Robyn Meierotto). I would love to see what you do with the card!
Be sure to check out the other happenings at DHD for Mad March Memories – you can find more info at the Design House Digital blog. The DHD Decorators and Designers have a lot of fun things in store for you today, so be sure to check it all out!
And speaking of fun things, I’ve got a $5 gift certificate to the Design House Digital Shop to give away! For a chance to win, do one or all of the following by midnight (Mountain time) on Wednesday, March 14, 2012: Give away ended.

  1. Leave a comment in this post.
  2. Create a layout or other project using my freebie, post it in the DHD gallery and link me up in the comments below.
  3. Follow my blog using the widget in the sidebar.
I’ll be back Friday with the winner!
This post was brought to you by the letter “D.”
(Your next stop for the hop is Celeste Knight. To start the hop from the beginning, go to this post on the DHD blog.)
Happy Hopping!
~Carey
